Publisher 2010 Tip: Mail Merge

Publisher is capable of creating a mail merge for print and an e-mail merge. Publisher provides a step by step wizard that will guide you through the process of setting up a mail merge.

To start a mail merge for print:

1. Click the Mailings tab
2. Click the Mail Merge drop down button
3. Click Step by Step Mail Merge Wizard
4. The wizard will appear on the right of your screen.
5. Click through the 3 steps to complete the merge

To start an e-mail merge:

The process is the same as above, but you click on the E-mail Merge drop down.  You can select Outlook contacts as your e-mail address list source or use another file such as a Word or Excel file.
